The Process: Mental Game Assessment
The Positive Course Difference
Unlike many other services, Positive Course is based upon a scientifically documented theory of the relationship between a person’s attentional and interpersonal styles and their impact on performance. The theory, developed and documented over the past 30 years, identifies the key to performance as the ability to appropriately focus attention at the moment of truth.
Test of Attentional and Interpersonal Style (TAIS™)
Positive Course utilizes the Test of Attentional and Interpersonal Style (TAIS™), a 144-item objective, quantitative assessment tool that determines exact values for each of 20 performance-critical scales.
The TAIS™ has been proven to be reliable and valid in thousands of administrations over hundreds of settings, including: US Skiing, The Italian Olympic Training Center and the Australian Institute for Sport as well as Citibank, Prudential Insurance, The U.S. Navy Seals, Nabisco and Harley-Davidson, among others.
TAIS is a registered trademark of Enhanced Performance Systems.
